Mission Statement
We, members of the Guggenheim Museum Union, seek to use our collective voice to push the museum toward a better, more sustainable future by centering equity, transparency, pay parity, and communication in matters that impact our lives and livelihoods, while also maintaining what we love about working at one of the world’s pre-eminent museums. By foregrounding the essential role staff plays in achieving the Guggenheim’s mission, we will ensure that our needs are prioritized in the museum’s decision-making process in a way that fosters constructive dialogue and mutual respect across all departments and at all levels of the museum.
